1-200 Infantry holds drive-through flu shots for Soldiers

LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Medics assigned to 1st Battalion, 200th Infantry, administered influenza vaccines to the battalion’s Soldiers via drive-through here Dec. 5.
Many New Mexico Army National Guard Soldiers did not attend December drill in person to reduce COVID-19 exposure risks. The drive-through event ensured the Soldiers received their annual flu shots to maintain medical readiness.
Medics screened each Soldier for COVID-19 symptoms before administering the flu shots.
