NMNG aircrew evacuates injured CBP agent

CW4 Brandon Seay and MAJ Michael McGahie flew to the accident scene and transported the injured officer to Deming for medical treatment. At last report, the CBP was arranging to have the injured agent transported to El Paso, Texas, for further treatment. Seay and McGahie are both assigned to Company C, 3rd Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment. Seay is the unit’s Standardization Pilot and McGahie is the Company Commander. CBP Agent Jeremy Newman was their passenger for the joint mission. Newman also serves in the New Mexico Army National Guard as a member of C/3-140 AVN. The name of the injured CBP agent has not been released.
