RSP hands off 24 Soldiers to units

Brindorean Hall, 920th Engineer Company Pfc. Alondra Marrufo-Ayala, 720th Transportation Company Pfc. Maximillian Workman, 226th Military Police Battalion Pfc. Ninalynn McKinney, 919th Military Police Company Pfc. Joshua Mirabal, Company C, 3rd Battalion, 140th Aviation Rios achieved the highest scores for the Army Physical Fitness Test and Basic Rifle Marksmanship in his training cycle. He also graduated from Ranger School and Airborne School, in addition to Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training. “Sgt. Rios came from the Air Force,” said Maj. Rudylee Armijo, RSP officer-in-charge. “We told him that he didn’t have to go to basic training, but he said he wanted the whole Army experience.” Quezada-Moore and Valdez received the highest BRM scores in their respective training cycles. Armijo promoted Dominguez, Zambrano-Rios, Gonzales, Rocha, Whitehorse, Quezada-Moore, Whitson, Valdez, Villanueva, Hall, and Workman to Private First Class during the ceremony. Armijo promoted Galindo to the rank of PV2. “This is a great day when you see this many graduates from basic, AIT, Ranger School and Airborne School,” Armijo said. Armijo praised his cadre and recruiters for their efforts with the Pipeline Success Rate in getting recruits through Initial Active Duty Training. “We have a graduation rate of 98.6 percent for basic and AIT,” Armijo said. “That’s the second highest in the nation.” The Recruiting and Retention Battalion administers the Recruit Sustainment Program.
